The Injection Fob is a two-piece plastic case that replaces the factory key fob housing with a stronger, more durable design. Injection molded from high-strength, impact-resistant ABS plastic, this upgraded case uses bolt-together construction with socket-head cap screws for improved ruggedness over the OEM snap-fit design. Assembly requires the included 3/32" Allen key. Made in the USA.
Important Notes
No Threadlocker: Do NOT use Loctite or any threadlocker on this product.
Reuses OEM Internals: Key blade, electronics, battery, and transponder must be transferred (not included).
OEM Shell Must Be Cut: The original key is molded into the factory case and must be cut out to remove it.
No Reprogramming Needed: Once internals are swapped, the fob functions exactly like OEM.
Transponder Risk: Removing the chip requires care—damage may prevent the vehicle from starting.
