The Injection Fob is a two-piece replacement case that upgrades the weak factory fob housing. Injection molded from high-strength, impact-resistant ABS plastic, this bolt-together design uses socket-head cap screws for increased durability versus the OEM snap-fit case. Assembly requires the included 3/32" Allen key. Made in the USA.

No Threadlocker: DO NOT use Loctite or any threadlocker on this product.
OEM Components Required: Existing key blade, electronics, battery & transponder chip are reused (not included).
OEM Case Destruction Required: The OEM key is molded into the original shell and must be cut or broken out to extract.
No Recut Needed: Typically no key cutting is required unless you choose to retain the original shell.
Alternate Key Option: You may use the OEM valet key or purchase Toyota H-chip key P/N 89785-0D170 (cut & programmed by a dealer/locksmith).
Transponder Warning: Removing the transponder can be difficult; damage will prevent the vehicle from starting.
