The Injection Fob is a two-piece replacement case designed to upgrade the durability and feel of the factory key fob. Injection-molded from high-strength, impact-resistant ABS plastic, this rugged case bolts together with socket-head screws for added strength and reliability. Assembly requires a 3/32" Allen key (included). Made in the USA.
Important Notes
Verify your fob shape: Must match the fob shown in the instruction/compatibility photos.
No threadlocker:Do NOT use Loctite or any threadlocker on screws.
OEM components reused: Key blade, electronics, battery, and transponder chip transfer into the new case (not included).
Key extraction required: The OEM case must be cut or destroyed to remove the molded-in key blade.
No reprogramming needed: Original transponder and electronics are reused.
Optional replacement key: You may use the OEM valet key or purchase a Toyota H-chip key (P/N 89785-0D170)if you want a separate cut key.
Transponder caution: Removing the glued transponder may require heat or cutting; damage will prevent the vehicle from starting.
