The AJT Design Injection Fob is a rugged, two-piece replacement key case designed to upgrade the factory Toyota H-key shell. Injection-molded from high-strength, impact-resistant ABS plastic, this design replaces the weak OEM snap-fit housing with a bolted construction for improved durability and long-term reliability. Made in the USA, it’s a straightforward solution for owners who want a stronger, more serviceable key case without reprogramming.

Threadlocker: Do NOT use Loctite or any thread-locking compounds
OEM shell removal: Factory key case must be destroyed to extract the molded key blade

Installation & key reuse details

Electronics reuse: Existing key blade, electronics, battery, and transponder are reused (not included)
Reprogramming: Not required if original components are transferred successfully
Key cutting: Re-cutting is not necessary when reusing the original blade
Alternate option: OEM valet key or Toyota H-chip key (P/N 89785-0D170) may be used
Dealer service: Alternate keys must be cut and programmed by a dealer or locksmith
