The Injection Fob is a two-piece plastic case that replaces the factory key fob housing with a stronger, bolt-together design. Injection molded from high-strength, impact-resistant ABS plastic, this case uses socket-head cap screws for improved durability compared to the OEM snap-fit design. Assembly requires the included 3/32" Allen key. Made in the USA.
Important Note
Verify Compatibility: Ensure your fob matches the instruction video/compatibility photos.
No Threadlocker: DO NOT use Loctite or any threadlocker on this product.
Reuses OEM Components: Existing key blade, electronics, battery, and transponder chip must be transferred (not included).
OEM Case Must Be Cut: Key is molded into the factory shell and must be cut or pulled out to remove.
No Reprogramming Needed: Swap over your OEM internals—no dealer visit required.
Transponder Risk: Chip removal can be difficult; damage may prevent the vehicle from starting.
Replacement Key Option: A Toyota H-chip key (P/N 89785-0D170) can be cut/programmed if you prefer not to destroy your OEM case.
