The AJT Design Injection Fob case is a rugged two-piece replacement shell for 5th gen Toyota 4Runner models without push button start and select other Toyota key applications. Built for durability and long-term use, this case replaces the factory snap-fit shell with a screw-together design using socket head hardware for a stronger, more serviceable housing.

Each case is injection molded from high-strength, impact-resistant ABS plastic (black version uses PC-ABS). Your existing key blade, electronics, battery, and transponder components are reused and transferred into the new case — no reprogramming required when installed correctly.

OEM shell removal: Factory case must be destroyed to extract molded key blade

Key blade and transponder details

Key blade reuse: Original integrated key blade is reused
OEM case: Must be cut or broken to remove molded key blade
Alternate method: You may discard the integrated blade and use a separate key instead
Alternate key option: Toyota G-chip key (P/N 89785-08040) can be purchased, cut, and programmed
Transponder removal: Sometimes simple, often glued — may require cutting and/or heat
Caution: Improper removal can damage the transponder chip and disable starting
