The Injection Fob is a premium two-piece replacement case designed to upgrade the factory key fob for the 5th Gen 4Runner Limited (2010+) with push-button start. Built from high-strength, impact-resistant ABS plastic, this redesigned housing uses socket-head cap screws instead of a weak snap-fit connection—resulting in a stronger, more reliable fob.
Your OEM electronics, battery, and seal transfer directly into the new shell (not included with purchase). Assembly requires the included 3/32" Allen key. Made in the USA.
Important Notes
No Internal Key Storage: Valet/emergency key does not store inside this redesigned case like the OEM fob. Removing that feature allows a smaller, stronger, more symmetrical design.
Different From Tacoma V2 Case: This is NOT the same as the 2016+ V2 Tacoma case. The outside looks similar, but the internal geometry is completely different.
Verify Compatibility: Designed specifically for 5th Gen 4Runner Limited (2010+) push-button start—confirm your fob matches compatibility photos.
DO NOT USE THREADLOCKER: Do not apply Loctite or any threadlocker to the screws.
