Archive Garage 12" OSR Outboard Shock Relocation for Tacoma (1995-2004)

This shock tower kit for the 1st Gen Toyota Tacoma is engineered to significantly increase stability, add suspension travel, and allow the use of longer 12" shocks while retaining proper bump travel. Built from heavy-duty materials and designed for demanding off-road use, this setup is perfect for anyone looking to improve articulation, performance, and overall handling on challenging terrain.

Important notes:

• Lead time: In stock
  
• Shock type required: Hose-type remote reservoirs only (piggyback will not fit)
  
• Wheel fitment: Requires wheel spacers; negative offset recommended (example: 3.5" backspacing wheels + 1.25" spacers)
  
• Axle compatibility: 1G Tacoma version includes LH & RH tabs for necked-down stock axle tube (contact us if using a different axle)

• Expanded suspension travel: Supports shocks up to 12" in length (2.0 or 2.5), depending on bump travel limitations.

• Remote-reservoir only: Requires hose-type remote reservoirs; piggyback-style shocks will not clear.
  
• Wheel spacer requirement: Additional clearance needed for shock body and travel.
  
• Optimized for 1G Tacoma axles: Includes correctly shaped LH/RH axle tabs for stock neck-down housing.

Kit includes:

• (2) Shock towers made from 1/4" laser-cut, CNC-formed steel, MIG welded
  
• (2) Axle tabs (LH & RH) made from 1/4" steel for the stock Tacoma axle tube
  
• (4) Grade 8 shock bolts with lock nuts
