The factory bumper sheet metal on 2005–2023 Toyota Tacomas is prone to bending under hard winch pulls, recovery situations, or front-end impacts. The weld-on bumper reinforcement gusset kit dramatically increases rigidity and provides a strong foundation for off-road use.
Important Note
- Some aftermarket frame support brackets may not be compatible with the added material thickness.

- Triples mount thickness by overlaying 3/16” steel onto the factory mounts
- Adds a secondary gusset that ties the frame mounts into the core support mount for maximum strength
