Description
Turn your existing MORRFlate Hose Kit into an Air Hub Modular Hose Kit with basic hand tools. Printable step-by-step instructions are also available here.
What you need:
- (1) Air Hub Retro Fit Kit
- 9/16" wrench
- 5/8" wrench
- 3/4" wrench
- ~2ft of PTFE tape
What to do:
- Use the 9/16" wrench to fully unthread and remove the hoses from the black MORRFlate manifold (righty tighty, lefty loosey)
- Clean the threads of any old PTFE tape or residue
- Wrap ~6" of PTFE tape (3 wraps) clockwise around the male threads on the hose ends
- Wrap ~6" of PTFE tape (3 wraps) clockwise around the male threads on the supplied black and green couplers
- Thread the supplied Female NPT to male I/M fittings onto the hose ends; tighten to roughly 12 lb-ft with the 5/8" and 9/16" wrenches
- Thread the supplied black and green couplers into your black anodized manifold; tighten to roughly 12 lb-ft with the 3/4" wrench

Special Notes
Once retrofitted, you no longer need the original black anodized manifold assembly for that hose kit — but it's worth keeping as a spare or repurposing as a garage air splitter.
