Our Not Your Typical Skid Plate Assembly for the Toyota 4Runner/Lexus GX460 is TIG welded with 1/4-inch aluminum, providing protection to both the engine and transmission, while also acting as a catalytic converter shield.
The modular 3-piece design allows for easy removal and access for maintenance.
The skid plate assembly also works with our skid plate extension (both GX460 and 4Runner versions are sold separately) to provide the best coverage possible.
DO NOT use the skid plate as jacking points, unless the billet jacking block is installed. Only jack directly below the billet jacking block.
All necessary mounting hardware included.
Torque down all the M8 bolts to 21 ft-lbs./29 Nm.
