The Injection Fob is a two-piece replacement case designed to upgrade the weak OEM housing on select Toyota models. Injection molded from high-strength, impact-resistant ABS plastic (black variants use PC-ABS). Instead of a snap-fit design, this case bolts together using durable socket-head cap screws for a rugged, secure assembly. Requires 7/64" Allen key (included). Made in the USA.
Important Note
No Threadlocker: DO NOT use Loctite or any threadlocker on this product.
OEM Parts Reused: Factory key blade, electronics, battery, and transponder chip must be transferred (not included).
OEM Case Must Be Cut: Key is molded into the factory shell and must be removed by cutting in many cases.
Transponder Risk: Removing the chip may require cutting/heat; damage can prevent the vehicle from starting.
Alternate Key Option: A Toyota G-chip key (P/N 89785-08040) may be purchased and programmed if you prefer not to cut the OEM case.
