We’re proud to offer a clean, factory-style solution for mounting your Alpine aftermarket microphone into the headliner console of your 2016–2023 Toyota Tacoma. This mount allows your microphone to be neatly integrated into the OEM location while maintaining excellent voice clarity and functionality.
Installation Instructions
Remove the Headliner Console
Gently pull down on the headliner console to release the pressure clips.
Use a plastic panel removal tool to avoid damage during removal.
Disconnect Console Wiring
Unplug the wiring harness connector from the console.
Remove Foam Insert
Locate the factory microphone port and remove the foam insert.
Install the Microphone into the Mount
Push the rounded end of the microphone through the opening of the mount.
Make sure the rounded end sits close to the bottom of the center mount support.
Mount the Assembly into the Console
Insert the mount into the headliner console with the legs and rounded end of the microphone facing down.
Press until the clip locks securely into place.
Route the Microphone Wire
Route the wire from the headliner console toward the rearview mirror.
Reinstall the console, pulling any slack toward the mirror.
Continue routing the wire across the top of the windshield, down the driver’s side A-pillar, and toward the floorboard.
Run the wire under the dash and plug the 3.5mm jack into the red microphone port on the back of your Alpine head unit.
Test the System
Power on the head unit and test the microphone to ensure it is working properly.
